So I finally started a blog. But its not for real yet. And either is Elle for that matter. Don't let any of this fool you. I'll tell you I work in finance but really am a graphic designer. I should feel old but instead I feel they are just strangely young.

I’m currently at an engagement party for a girl who is 20. I’m standing here is the corner over hearing a bunch of her friends (all 20), discussing all the dates they’ve been on and their urgent need to be married asap.

I’m 22, I’m stared at as ‘wow that girl is old, we feel so bad for her…and she isn’t dating anyone…oh god, there really is no hope for her’.

I don’t feel old. I just feel like there is a lot of statutory rape going on in my community.
